Installation Instructions
1. Following the instructions inside the faucet package
to install the faucet to the sink or counter top.
2. Under the sink, locate the cold water supply and it turn
off. Remove the water supply line to the sink at the supply
(angle stop). Install the ⅜ faucet adapter (or a similar
adapter available at your local hardware store) and reconnect
the supply line to the sink.
3. Attach the Vege-Kleen to the side of the cabinet (near
an 115V power supply and water supply - you will need a
dedicated power outlet).
4. Insert the ⅜ tubing into the faucet adapter. Cut the
tubing to size to fit your space requirements and insert
the tubing into the Vege-Kleen IN port which is located
on the side of the unit. Make sure the tubing seats all
the way into the housing.
5. Bring ⅜ tubing from the faucet to the OUT port of the
Vege-Kleen which is located on the opposite side of the
unit to the IN port.
6. Open the water supply slowly and check for leaks. Open
the faucet to purge system.
7. Plug the power cord into the Vege-Kleen and then into
the power supply.
8. Open the faucet completely and allow the water to run
for at least three seconds. Fill a glass with water from
the Vege-Kleen and test the water by dipping the test strip
into the water. Keep the strip in the water for 10 seconds
moving it back and forth (you should smell a small amount
of Ozone). Shake off the strip once, wait 20 seconds and
then you should find that the test strip changes color from
yellowish brown to green. This change indicates the presence
of ozone.
